Successful Installation of the 1550mm Acid Rolling Mill Arch at Guangxi HWHG Electrical Steel Project (Phase I)
On the morning of December 31, Guangxi Hongwang New Material Technology Co., Ltd. successfully held the arch installation ceremony for the 1550mm acid rolling mill. The arch is one of the most critical and challenging components in the rolling process. Its successful installation marks a significant step toward trial production.
To ensure smooth installation, the project team made extensive preparations and developed a detailed lifting plan. Throughout the process, Guangxi Hongwang prioritized safety, adhered to low-carbon and green principles, and is building an intelligent manufacturing factory in the cold-rolled electrical steel sector, following the “Lighthouse Factory” standards.
As a joint venture between HWHG Group and Shenglong Metallurgical, leveraging shared resources and expertise in raw materials, equipment, technology, energy, and logistics, the project will fill the gap for high-end electrical steel in Guangxi and the southwestern region. Guangxi Hongwang primarily produces high performance electrical steel, and cold-rolled coated sheets, which will be widely used in electric vehicle motors, industrial motors, construction machinery, household appliances, and other industries.
The project has received strong support and professional guidance from the Fangchenggang Municipal Government, the Port District Government, and other relevant departments. Moving forward, Guangxi Hongwang will focus on its goals to ensure the project meets all critical milestones and is on track for trial production.
